These tests are helpful in providing relief through self-help, therapy, medication, and exercise.

Understand that depressions are of various types. Major, mild, bipolar, seasonal, and double depression etc., are some of them. It is important that the correct type is understood by both the patient as well as the physician for effective treatment procedures. Depression tests are only intended as a guide, and cannot replace a visit to your physician. However, it can also be used as a measure to chart out the progress in the persons medications and treatment. The word of caution is that these results need not be necessarily the last word in a person’s condition.
